Our Installation Process
Step 1:
Consultation and Design
The first step in creating your perfect holiday lighting display is a consultation with one of our experienced designers. We’ll set up a phone call or zoom meeting to discuss your vision, budget, and specific needs. Whether you already have a clear idea of what you want or need some inspiration, our team will work with you to develop a custom design that fits your style. We’ll also take measurements and evaluate your property to ensure the display will be installed safely and efficiently.
Step 2:
Installation
Once the design and schedule is finalized, our team gets to work installing your lights on the chosen day. We use commercial-grade lighting products that are durable, energy-efficient, and weather-resistant. Our professional installers take great care to ensure the lights are securely fastened and arranged to maximize their impact. We handle everything from roofline lighting and tree wrapping to ground displays and more, making sure every detail is perfect.
Step 3:
Maintenance
Throughout the holiday season, we provide ongoing maintenance to keep your lights shining bright. If a bulb burns out or you notice an issue with your display, simply give us a call, and we’ll promptly take care of it. Our goal is to ensure your holiday lights remain in top condition from the day they go up to the day they come down.
Step 4:
Takedown and Storage
Once the holiday season is over, our team will return to carefully take down your lights and pack them away for next year. We label and organize everything so that the installation process is even smoother the following year. Plus, with our optional storage service, you won’t have to worry about finding space for your lights – we’ll store them for you!
Permanent Govee Lights installation
These are permanent lights, installed one time for long-term, year-round enjoyment. No seasonal takedown required.
What to Know
- We install only Govee Pro lights with our premium service, which includes a 1 year installation warranty on our workmanship.
- We can install other Govee lights (non-Pro), but due to their lower quality we only provide a 30-day workmanship warranty.
- If any lights come loose or fall due to wind or natural factors, we will return under warranty to resecure them.
- If lights stop working or the app isn’t connecting, you’ll first contact Govee support since your lights are covered by the manufacturer. If the issue persists, our team will assist you under your installation warranty.
- All Govee Pro lights themselves are backed by the manufacturer’s 3-year limited warranty from date of purchase.
- You can purchase the Govee lights yourself or we can provide them for you.

Do I need to provide the lights?
For holiday lights, we provide premium commercial-grade LEDs as part of our all-inclusive package. We do NOT install customer owned lights due to liability/insurance reasons. For Govee installs, we’ll send you the link to purchase the correct Govee Pro kit for your home. This way, the 3-year manufacturer warranty stays under your name.
How much does it cost?
Holiday lighting packages start at $700, with most clients investing $1500–$2000 depending on the home. Govee permanent lights are typically $400-$700 for the Materials ( Govee kit) and labor is typically $6-$8/Foot. Contact us for an accurate quote for your home.
What kind of warranty do you provide?
All holiday light installs include season-long maintenance and warranty coverage until takedown. Govee Pro installs include a 1-year installation warranty on our workmanship, plus Govee’s 3-year manufacturer warranty on the lights.
When do you install and remove holiday lights?
We typically start installations in October, November, and December and remove them in January. With our storage option, we’ll keep everything safe and ready for the following year.
Can I customize the colors or design?
Yes! Holiday lights come in multiple colors and layouts, and we’ll design a look that matches your home’s style. Govee Pro lights are app-controlled, offering millions of colors, patterns, and scheduling options you can change year-round.
What happens if a light goes out or stops working?
For holiday lights, just call us — maintenance is included all season. For Govee, if it’s an installation issue (like lights coming loose), we’ll handle it under warranty. If it’s a product issue, Govee’s warranty covers replacement, and we’ll guide you through the process if needed.
